Changing ur stauts doesnt do anything, ur still connected and u can still get messages. As was said before by someone, some ppl like to be connected but not 24/7. It wud be nice to signout or disconnect once in a while to avoid being messages.

Well my suggestion is not to answer them until you feel like or simply put your bb on mute so you'll just ignore all messages that you don't feel like answering

But then they'll know that the message has been delivered and theyll automatically know that u got the message but ur ignoring it.

Thats ur lifestyle but what about a guy like me who wants to avoid a girl friend but dont want to turn the phone off and wants to make up a lie to tell her. After she BBMs me 100 times i cant jus tell her that i didnt hear or see them.

Thats just 1 scenario.

i think BBM is annoying the fact that u cant log out of it is cause enough to avoid BB at least in my case, i love to be connected but not 24/7

hmm i dont really have that much of a problem with it maybe because i do alot of bizniz on it and im about ma money 24/7!

I agree completely and if your BBM contacts are that annoying probably you need to either start deleting or get a flashlight Nokia

I never log off and yes I'm on Yahoo, Msn, Google Talk, Facebook Im and BBM 24/7
