Did some Android research other day .
Could've just linked to the CyanogenMod site for all this info. You can also access them in IRC: join #cyanogenmod on irc.freenode.net...
EDIT: Good to see an Android section .
Rooted OnePlus 2 64GB Ed, Android 5.1.1 OxygenOS ; on teifin' AT&T's network; Rooted ASUS Transformer TF101 w/ dock, Android 5.1 KatKiss; Laptop: ASUS X550C, 2.0GHzx2, 8GB, 512GB SSD, Kubuntu 15.10;

I think he is trying to put some meat on the Android section it would have been so dull and consume such little space to just link a site with the info now wouldn't it

So is there a non Doctor Frankenstein way of updating/upgrading the version of Android which is currently on your phone?

lmao Dr. Frankenstein.. hehehehehe
anyway the only other way of updating the version of android is by getting the official release -> but keep in mind that the G1 pretty much is out of the spotlight in the modern android community. the only phones i know that have official releases are Nexus or Droid
but at any rate anubis custom firmwares are still far better than the original firmwares
I learned today actually when connected to the wifi it asked me if I wanted to update and it updated it back to the version that I had downgradeded it from when I was trying to get whole activation without data plan thing to work.

Not sure Vylle but the boot screen changed back to what it was when I just got the phone, it says Firmware 1.6 I don't know if that helps in anyway.
