nope symbian is not java based nor does it require java runtime to interact with pc in any capacity(only in dev purposes with the old carbide IDE)

From i have gotten my magic i walk around with my wireless router, when i go work and when im at home just plug it in and go cuz sometimes its more convienient to be in bed on messenger, then jump back into web browsing then answer a call and then txt someone all on one awesome device

oh and my phone can watch videos on youtube without having to download any additional browser or software so go suck on the fact BB

- lets not forget that you can also record videos on your phone then upload them to youtube AND download videos from youtube.. all on the standard android phone

There u go. Honestly I think I must have been the luckiest dude alive... bought this g1 in pretty good conditon for 12k. The person I bought it from didn't know how to use it and didn't even know how to set up the apn to sign in.. or maybe he just got tired of it and wanted to go back to the simple life of blackberry. Oh well.. for wateva reason it was the best and most worthwhile use of 12k in my life

With a Snapdragon inside my X10 and Android....am all good, Had two BBs before and gave them away practically. No looking back, I must admit if you not careful the data charges can get out of hand but no more than what the BBS would cost you on a monthly basis.
