The guys over a joomla forums are the expert so I don't think that there's anything else that we can suggest that they haven't covered.

I will have to look into this.
    |--- www.RealJamaicaEstate.com ™ ---|
Invest small = small returns [micro enterprise] | Invest Big = returns Big [macro enterprise]
    --- www.fashionsJAMAICA.com ™ -|- www.ChampsJamaica.com

be careful with putting in some of those mods, as you have a joomla 1.5 site, some of those mods pertain to 1.0 specific sites.

Thanks I got rid of the polls module from my home page and I also removed a few pictures it's loading a bit quicker now. I'm also looking into ways of optimizing the PHP and CSS files below are few suggestions I found online:

    Optimize CSS:

    http://www.cssdrive.com/index.php/main/csscompressor/

Most importantly pops....I can't over emphasize this for all persons using popular CMS like Joomla , wordpress, etc...... PROTECT YOUR ADMIN PAGE.

By default your administrator page in joomla is www.yoursite.com/administrator . Since this is popular knowledge, script kiddies will have a field day with your site.

There are many extentions that can fix this. Here is an entry level with is quite popular and which I use on most of my joomla sites.

Great going so far. I will have a few more recommendations but I'll wait until you add more information.

    Secure your admin page........please. ASAP

This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless.
