    Default XBOX 360 Failure

I cant believe my xbox 360 died today aka ring of death. Now after doing all the respective mods I am now left with the remaining parts. Recommended fixes are not guaranteed to last more than a few months. Boo to Microsoft for this junk.

I'm thinking of buying a 360 but after hearing all your sad stories, in the end, is it worth it. Will me playing it, inevitably lead to its destruction? Whats the ratio of them that go bad? What guarantee do I have that my hard earned 25g won't go down the drain in a week?

yeah the constant sories of RRoDs put me off from buying a x360, well until the new units camee out (the name slips me now) but there's a new version that came ath the end of last year with both the cpu and gpu build on a lower nm process than the original x360, from what i heard, microsoft finally ddressed the high failure rate of the 360
