    Default A+ cert. Exam Question

I'm looking into getting A+ certified and I'm a little confused.

The books that I'm getting seem to discuss/follow the objectives of Exam 220-301 (Hardware Core) and Exam 220-302 (Operating Systems core), not 220-601 (Essentials), which includes security, safety/Environmental Issues and communication/professionalism. I don't see these 'Domains' listed for neither 301 or 302, so I doubt they both combine to give the 220-601 exam.
I can't even find any info on 220-301/302 on Comptia's website. This aint making sense to me.
The books are saying "To become certified, you must pass two test modules: the Hardware Core and the Operating System Technologies Core". yet, on Comptia's website they say differently. see below

    Any text recommendations???
    Thanks in advance.

those exams are old from 2003 and have been retired. The A+ essentials 220-602 is compulsory an one elective 220-602 exam of your choice. New books are available from sybex and mike meyers
