    Default CCNA in 10 days!??

    called new horizons to enquire about the CCNA programme..the long and short of it..10 days of classes and $2000 USD later, plus 2 exams..one can aquire their CCNA..

    now ive looked at the syllabus for ccna and its LONG..so i dont know if this going work or not..

    anybody did their CCNA at new horizons? how was it?

    I took several months to study for mine hands on, wouldnt do it otherwise.
    I wont hate on someone who did theirs in ten days but that sounds more like cramming than anything else.

    Most Schools are diploma mills, you can go there and cram like a ***** and pass. God help the Network you get loose on after that....

    Get the Sybex book and a router simulator and you need no school. I stayed home for 2 weeks with that and passed my CCNA and I had no prior experience with a network or Cisco device.

    i have the CBT nuggets CCNA cd's..

    im still thinking whether i should go to a school or attempt to do this on my own..where can i get a simulator from kevon?

    I heard that a working copy of Boson NetSim can be gotten on the net. I went through the right channel and purchased a Network Visualizer from Sybex

    That is just for the exams no teaching, just attend, pass exams and
    collect certificate.

    i actually want to learn this stuff

    This is a good cert to have been putting it off. How much newhorzion cost and do they offer jus doing the exam?

    their ccna is 2000 USD and that includes EVERYTHING you're going to need..it even includes the exam fee..

    idk what to think about it because heart is offering it for 65k and their course spans over a 5 month period if i remember correctly..
