Intel Core i7-4770 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770

ASUS GRYPHON Z87 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 uATX Intel Motherboard

its a z87 board for a locked processor but reason I got it was all the talk about reliability. They make the TUF boards to last, so this better last some years. Not into the DOA thing either. Got the 4770 for TSX and the other features 4770K didn't have. Plus the cost. Got it down to $279 with a free 8GB of RAM. Didn't go amd because... fail.

Lol, yeah AMD proly concentrating on their console area so they not too interested in PC section to that other than maybe GPU area atm. Good buys though and I guarantee board should last at least 5 years cause the price on the one I bought a year ago gone up lol. Must be good sign.

bought a couple of those. with the cpu cooler. PC quiet enough for me to hear the harddrives now. Think I preferred the sound noises. They are connected directly to the motherboard, which I've not really done before with case fans. The mobo actually turns off the fans now and then.

Got me a FITBIT just for the fun of it.

IP based switch works very well but has limited use.

Very good traveling headphone, active noise cancellations works very well on the plane.
