    Hey guys, further clarification...

If the link to the backbone is wireless as in the case of the Kasnet V-Sat then there really is no guarrantee. V-Sats are prone to weather fluctuations but depending on the size of the dish and the bandwidth being used this may or may not be relevant. V-Sats have higher latency than wired connection and this will directly affect the performance.

Also wireless broadband does not suffer this type on interference form weather conditions. Weather conditions affect only earth to satellite communication and since wireless broadband is between your premises and a tower station sonewhere in the island weather changes are not an issue. I hope this will shed some light on the wireless services offered.

The interesting think would be to know what sort of bandwidth each provider has going out of their offices. That would shed some light on "who is really who" I know that N5 for instance has been trying to get more bandwidth.. have no idea if they have finally done so.

Indeed one of their selling points for wireless is that it is unaffected by wheather conditions.
