Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. Live for computers or else they will live for you.

To be honest once a person hear the words "university of phoenix" they look at you differently. I know a few people who is enrolled and the told me the classes are difficult but the response they get when they say i enrolled in "Uni of phoenix". Hey the way i look at it is an online education is better than nothing but i prefer the traditional way.

University of Phoenix is a traditional campus based University and they are accredited for the degrees they offer. They choose to make their courses available to the world by offering online courses and people are looking down on them, how shallow!
There is nothing wrong with their degree program so if that is an option you choose to pursue then by all means do it. By the way the degree does not say that it was acquired online so there is nothing for anyone to be ashamed about.
Certifications will always expire but a degree does not. Degree first, cert later or both at the same time if possible.
