the 2900 pro is better than this card and its the same price. And dx 10.1 doesnt matter. The 0.1 doesnt have any purpose.

thats subjective. the hd3xxx series has much lower power consumption and is faster. for the same money the 2900s make no sense.

he who readeth not, and believeth Nvidia marketing hype, might get breedeth in the end.

If it dont matter why the rush from the Nvidia camp to make sure new 9xx series is Dx10.1 compliant ?

Me and the others tired to talk about it in other posts. Who don't hear must feel it in the FPS and them wallet.

PLEASE NOTE.. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON A 256 MB CARD....

Most Game devs today say 512 Is Needed to run the games flawlessly, more so than even CPU and System RAM !!

    Default Good deal on 2 x 2gb ddr2 at fry's & newegg

Fry's has this kit for $70 ground shipping is probably about $8. newegg has it for $85 with free shipping. doesnt seem to be the most overclocking friendly kit around but if you have x64 vista or xp its probably not a bad deal.

Not in most situations but I've seen benches where it did. Its the difference in architecture that's the prob. Don't say "don't expect u to know" i've seen more benchmarks than u have hair apprentice.
