Default YAP jack a/c recharge probs

Has anybody experienced problems when adding value to their YAP jack a/c? I'm learning that some users have had problems accessing their yap jack a/c info online and strangely enough the only source of the problem can be traced to using Windows XP ???

OK, here's the solution to the problem of accessing your YAP jack a/c info using a Windows XP machine.

    1. Run Internet Explorer
    2. Click the "Tools" menu item then "Internet Options.."
    3. Click the "Privacy" tab
    4. Click the "advanced" button
    5. Click the checkbox to override automatic cookie handling
    6. Click OK to close all settings pop-up windows

That's it. You should now be able to access your a/c info. Apparently the default setting for Windows XP is to enable automatic cookie handling (no check in checkbox).

    Hope this helps

Hey, here's another way of fixing that problem.

    IE 6
    1. Run Internet Explorer
    2. Click the "Tools" menu item then "Internet Options.."
    3. Click the "Privacy" tab
    4. Click the "Edit" button
    5. Type "Net2phone.com" in the window
    6. Click the "Allow" button
    7. Click OK to close all settings pop-up windows

    IE5
    1. Run Internet Explorer
    2. Click the "Tools" menu item then "Internet Options.."
    3. Click the "Security" tab
    4. Click the "Trusted Sites" icon
    5. Click the " Sites" button
    6. Deselect the "Require server verification..." checkbox
    7. Type "Net2phone.com" in the window
    8. Click the "Add" button
    9. Click OK to close all settings pop-up windows

Automatic cookie handling is still enabled but you should access your account info. without a problem while maintaining a high "cookie" security setting.

The problem lies where the information is ported from the net2phone site to yaptalk's site. New security features detects the info as coming from a third party source and blovks it. The fixes listed above should correct the problem.

    Yes I "worked" there too...
    Yes I did sign a non-disclosure...

No I have not started drinking...

I do respond to email however...
