    Default Windows 2000 Server/SQL Server connection failure

    Picture this:

    Jamaica...
    2006, a lonely server room in New Kgn...
    Server= Compaq Proliant, 4GB RAM, 3 x 40 GB SCSI Raided Hard Disks
    Windows 2000 Server SP4
    MS SQL Server 2000 (Patched current).

    HD partioned;
    C: 6 GB total free: 3 GB
    H: 36 GB total free : 24 GB
    Swap windows managed on H:
    RAM : 3.1 GB FREE

    Server is running in standalone workgroup mode.

    Usage: SQL Server running App for 6 Users.

    Problem: Users suddenly kicked off. Unable to reconnect. Rebooting server does not alleviate problem. Upon reboot "At least one service failed to start" error displayed.

    Event log: Remote Access Connection Manager Service failed to start because it could not create buffers. Reboot computer. Insufficient resources. ACCESS DENIED.

    Yes, problem solved...

    What is the APP that's pulling from the SQL Server?? From the Event log mess. it seems like account that starts the service might have issues.
