how to Configure a proxy connection??

I am using a proxy dial up connection and i just cant figure out how to configure out how to get it to work with many of my programs like messenger, trilian, limewire, ect. but iv'e got firefox and IE correct plz help can't afford Broadband right now....................

Wat proxy application.. are..u using....???

but .. here is something you can do.. is.. this.. Set you.. ur connection to" dial when connection is not present"...
i know u can do this throught IE.. in Tools.. caonnection... what will happen is when an application.. try to access the internet.. it with prompt your machine.. to dial out.. for it..

but word of caution.. application. like limewire.. that look for Internet connection the momment.. it boot.. will dial out as your machine boots.. up.. and will try redial if.. that connection.. is broken
