A good place to meet others is at the CCP Lanothons we have in St. Anns Bay (The Middle Ground). We should be having the next one in July...or late this month....I am sure "new" faces will pop-up there.
And of course as mentioned b4 there is the jalug meetings.

yeh i met a bunch of guys from jalug, and otherwise. ye it is nice to see "the face behind the avatar"
i've met around 20+ techjamaica members still. hope to reach jalug on saturday, so i might even meet more.
never have but wouldn't mind seeing a few of the females

The first was one of the mobay lanathons (or watever dem want to call it at the cyber cafe)
Where i met about... 6 or so techie's including ropy and nastro
Then was the Linux Installfest where i met a whole other bunch including xeno, gillion (i think) Yatta, Chris... virus (one of the virus dem) bwoyyy i did meet whole heap at installfest. I cant account for all i have met... but i would say most of the frequent members i have met already.
I already knew DK from Wolmers, Already knew Liquid Bunny from yeears back... so yeh i have met a few

They have meetings everymonth and every now and again and installfest where you can get linux installed on your computer for free and as much linux help as you need![]()
