    Does anyone know how to install ffmpeg and lame codec and all the other media codecs, on xampp apache friends. Im doing some ocassional testing of scripts and i would need some help in installing it.

    do u also have IIS working, probly dem fighting for port 80.

    sound like some one making a YouTube Clone....

    Do some reading on that it.... should help you to install the codecs

    try using xampp, it's best all-in-one setup i have seen so far, ease-to0use, just extract and start

    install them separately and manually edit the config files.. use the mysql auto installer and if you are using the win32 php auto installer don't select to install all the php extentions.

    Yo peeps im a complet PHP noob i just about starting to learn the language the using the lynda.com PHP essentials but i having an issue where WAMP buggin out it starts up the gauge goes yellow then back to white the local host dosent work any at all

    i did some research and found out that skype and or any program thats using port 80 will have issues with apache i resolved all the port 80 conflicts that i know of but wamp still showing me that the server is offline dont have a clue right now as to what else could be causing this issue any assistance would be great

    failin that im going to try apache triad2 heard it was good

    click wamp -> apche -> service -> test port 80 to see wats using ur port.

    Ensure that IIS service is not running, because it will clash with apache and cause a problem.
