i still say see it in the theater 1st but not everybody can afford to rewatch it ($410 not cheap for me) only prob with the current bootleg is the fool screen aspect ratio. genuine dvd can't b released soon enough, in the mean time i'll rinse out the bootleg

This dude actually admitting that he has a bootleg?

yo i'm a straight up star wars fan and i was very dissappointed when i saw episode 1 i thought it was crap, they made it up for the most part with episode two, this one the hit straight out of the park, Lucas did this one very very nice i jus can't explain. it jus one of the best ones ever only return of the jedi to me is better.

even my bredrin dem who not even into anything name scifi were totally blown away by this film. in fact it think we got some new star wars converts the man dem wan watch everyone of them now

Star Wars has officially outscored Lord of the Rings and Spider-Man 2 for opening weekend. By the time this monster hit closes, it should have outpaced Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at the billion dollar mark. See details here.

By the way, George Lucas is not going to make Episodes VII, VIII and IX. Those will remain unmade. Well... at least for now. He did say that he would never release Star Wars on DVD, and look at us now. He might change his mind.

See some movie trivia here. Steven Spielburg had a hand in the dramatic fight sequences. No wonder they were so good.

I bet that the series will continue with VII, VIII, and IX. Technology has come waaay too far for them not to take advantage of it. In fact, I'm surprised they havent announced it as yet...hmm...maybe they are struggling to come up with a righted plot. If that is the case...then it should remain as it is.

What do you mean by struggle to come up with a righted plot? Lucas has completed the story, VII, VIII and IX have already been written.
