    Default Wireless Repeater woes

I've been trying to setup on of those small plug in wireless access point routers but I'm having problems getting it to repeat the signal successfully,

I go through the wizard input credentials of the source wifi but for some reason when it reboots I cannot connect to it .. modifying the settings to enable dhcp I can connect but still no internet ☹️

Will post the model in another post

Looking at the interface it seems pretty straightforward. Would want to go on video with you to check it out. Will PM you a link.
Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

Was waiting for a while for connection to get started, but guess it didn't work out.

Check if you can connect to the device and get an IP.

If you can get an IP from the device, log in and disable DHCP then manually set your IP and connect. Configure then check if it works thereafter.

Change the connection type and play with the settings. Some of the routers may not like some repeaters.
