AnyDesk is my personal favorite. I've been using it for a few years now and I pretty much no longer use TeamViewer.
Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it.!!!
I rather paying for the thing once with a year of updates and then the option to upgrade to a newer version - or get a perpetual license. Depending on the amount of PAID remote support done then I guess AnyDesk (or any other subscription service) would be a viable alternative.
Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".
Necro this.
Check out RustDesk.

My current preferences are RustDesk first and RemoteUtilities second.
Reasons for preference of RustDesk currently would be overall speed and mobile platform.
RD is great on both fronts. It's currently the fastest thing on the market from what I recall. The mobile app is very well done.
RU is my second option. It's slower than just about everything else - but it works and is a one-time payment. They've recently added Mac support for remote control, so that's a major plus.
I've actually asked RU to check out RD and maybe take some code/ideas because of how fast RD has climbed the ranks. I highly recommend both, but for a free service - RD takes the win.
Overall winner is RustDesk for now. If RemoteUtilities picks up and does a better mobile app, even if the speed is slower - it'll be the better paid option IMO.
