    It's important to note that the mandate for PS4 pro support is for games released in October and later. Older games can support it if they want, but few are likely to. Not because the hardware is insufficient, but because at this point why bother since it's unlikely to have a significant boost to the profit of those older titles.

    Well the consoles this generation are x86 based architecture and have very similar hardware to a mid range PC, so it is going to match. That's probably why they made the PS4 pro bigger as well because it's gonna need more room for airflow because if it does manage 4k on some triple A games it's going to be distributing a ton of heat.

    The power consumption is good except for rest mode. the reviewer agrees. What 4k pc draws 155watts at load?

    Yeah it makes no sense to patch old games. New games from now on will take advantage of the pro hardware.

    Too bad I dislike playstation controllers. i would definitley get a PS4 Pro.

    What's the point of this? The video itself says those units are defective. If they were that loud normally then yeah.

    Never good idea to be an early adopter. Seems like they have bios and HDMI and signaling issues. I will just wait until they do revisions to it before I get one.
