The JCS seems to be coming back to life. There is new leadership and a new approach. There is new material on their website and things seem to be happening.

I attended the last meeting on June 1 at UWI's Faculty Of Science and Technology.

The event was well attended by I.T. people coming from work and university students. The speakers gave us some insights into the steps needed to start and grow a tech business.

I will attend another meeting and if the standard is the same, I think I will join up and become a member. The yearly membership fees are reasonable. You can check http://myjcs.com/ for more information.

Thanks for the update on the JCS. I did notice their revitalization recently with the new leadership. I remember my involvement with them some time ago but they weren't like how they are now. Good progress.
