Here is the thing thou... speeds so fast and have surely come a long way... It's so easy for us to feel when it's not up to the standard we use to now...
When I was up hospital I instantly felt the difference, hence I did the speed test...

fi real, and apps and files will continue to be improved and increase in size.. , maybe not at the pace we have grown since 128kbit -1mbit days of Cable and Wireless DSL and MP3s were 3-5mb and videos were 480p..
when 4k devices and media become more commonplace these speeds will need to be the norm, and apps like whatsapp will stop have the need to compress images/videos (which many ppl don't even notice)
