I didnt know that PC gamers have to keep upgrading thier machine OS just to keep getting updates. What percentage of games are tied to DX?

I too have to admit that there's not much of a visual upgrade over 8 or new features. It's much faster than 7 though and seems a little more fluid than 8. I do however like the notification center along with the sounds. Makes the OS feel more alive. Do your games run better?

OK.. Boot time much improved now.. it takes about 3 secs to get to the log in screen.. and another 4 secs on the welcome screen.. is there a way to bypass the welcome screen?
So 7 seconds to boot up and you want to skip the welcome screen... ok?

Unintentional or intentional trolling lol? You ever play a game on Windows without Directx and get a error message that DXxxx.dll is missing? Can't cause you wouldn't be asking that question if you were.

Not only games, everything. Well know about from Windows 7 to 10 but never used Windows 8 so can't compare that.

Great... so people are willing to install an open source app that they know nothing about it or the author in order to stop windows from tracking..
When I'm sure that app will be tracking and collecting data of it's own.. lol

I almost agreed with you on that one, but since it's open source someone would have seen it in the code by now and reported it I guess.

What I'm wondering is if this will actually cause Windows to become unstable.
