So I Bought a Xbox One

Boxing day sales caught me and I gave in and got a Xbox One.

Got the $500 for $350 CAD.

Also got Halo MC. Halo 2 has me hooked again.

So far I am enjoying t because of Halo 2, but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy a console other than WiiU.

The worry free gaming consoles use to have are now gone. Which was their only advantage over pc gaming.
Console games are now broken at launch and require huge updates sometimes day one. Had to download a 18GB update as soon as I inserted the Halo disc.

The days of just inserting a disc and playing on consoles are done for.

That patch you downloaded was actually (mostly) multiplayer maps. MS was too cheap to ship it with another disk.

MCC was pretty broken at launch anyway though.

Yeah sad to see the days of worry free gaming now gone and I see nothing that going to be done in the future to change that. I may get both consoles this generation but not until Microsoft gets rid of that hideous power brick.
