Microsoft announced the Lumia 830 at IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany. The "affordable flagship" Lumia 830 puts a high-end camera into a smartphone that's easy on your wallet.
Hold the Lumia 830, and you'll find yourself looking at a beautiful 5-inch 720p IPS display (1280 x 720). This display comes with some impressive technology like ClearBlack, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Curved Glass and more. This all amounts to a display you'll be able to easily use outdoors in bright sunlight.
The Lumia 830 itself is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which is supplemented with microSD card support up to 128 GB and 15 GB of OneDrive cloud storage.
The big selling point of the Lumia 830 will be its PureView camera. You'll find a rear camera with a 10 MP sensor and optical image stabilization. ZEISS optics ensures you can capture photos like more expensive Lumia handsets. You also get Rich Recording thanks to three microphones. This is recording technology we've seen in high-end handsets like the Lumia 930.
