Is it possible to share a linux virtual machine Perl runtime with windows host?
How does Perl runtime work? If it is a server, then a windows perl instance could be networked to it. I don't know how to script with perl yet, so someone better should be around.

You want to do Perl scripting but do not have anything proper on Windows, right? Then ssh into the linux VM and synchronise your clipboard and stuff.

No. Jesus Christ no. Geta prope Windows Perl, like the community version from ActiveState. Perl doesn't use a Bare Metal VM like higher grade VMWares do.
