    Jamaica doesn't have REAL 4G.

The iPhone has HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps. This is considered as 4G by the ITU.

Current gen blackberries show 4G, yet the only have HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps.

In present day and age Digicel is now your best bet. LIMEs data network has gotten very unstable. I notice that the only time I get data is when my phone says H. I rarely every see H+ on it. Whenever the phone goes into 3G mode I get no data connectivity. EDGE is even worst, slow like snail. LIME not cutting it anymore and this happened to me when I had my iPhone 4, and even with my SGS-II. Since I switched to Digicel, my data connectivity is constant. I get data no matter if it's EDGE, 3G, H or H+. Plus Digicel is faster and wayyyyyyyyyy more stable. LIME just managed to muck up a good thing they "HAD" going for them. Digicel for your money bossy. I use the 1Gig 30 Day Plan for $1,750 from Digicel.

I must say that I'm impressed with digicel's data speed with constant speed and connectivity on my android. Just hoping for a price drop on data then they'll get the 2 thumbs up.

Best bet try them both. pending on your location your connectivity and stability will vary and as such you will b able to make a sold decision based on your mobility and where you'll need the data most. at the end of the day your own experience will serve you better.

I agree with Cultus. LIME 3G service on the iphone is very slow as of recent. I am getting like 0.25-3 mbps while on DIGICEL i am getting like 4-11 mbps.

Imessage and Facetime can be send using either the phone number or your register apple ID email address so it dont matter which network you are on.
