Default Charge Your iPhone with Your Breath

Wind-powered gadgets just got a step closer, thanks to a new design concept which could charge your electronics using the power of your breath.

The AIRE mask concept, from designer João Paulo Lammoglia, would convert wind energy from the user's breath into electricity via small wind turbines, in order to recharge small electronic devices, according to Earth Techling.

It would be less geeky to build a solar powered iPhone like one of those "coral" branded handsets instead of this.

How would inhaling through a plastic mask be a health risk? What about those gas masks or dusts masks? Those are health risk as well? Or are those a less health risk than a mask with small turbines?

I think he was talking about re-breathing a high dosage of your own carbon dioxide.

You sure? It seems to me that as you breath out, the air moves over the turbines and out through the mask. And you pull air in back from outside, through the mask.

As you mention that, the turbines would have to be really sensitive to be moved by the soft breathing when you sleep.
