quick office doesn't edit docs

I have a nokia n8 apparently i cannot edit documents with it. Each time i try to edit any doc it says purchase license. I know some one else who has a n8 and there quick office works but its another version from mine. Please help

Mine seems to work fine , Version 6.4.460 AM_TB9.2 - My N8 is currently Anna with two of the 2 Anna updates installed with communicator and etc..

Editing documents in Quick Office is usually reserved for the E-Series. There's rarely an N-Series that's able to do it. You can upgrade your firmware though to Symbian Anna and it will become like Fossil's N8. But it's fair to let you know that upgrading your firmware has potential risks eg. your phone can die if there's a power cut during the upgrade.

How do i upgrade the N8 to symbian anna. Please give full details

settings - phone - phone management - device updates - options button check for updates
Just letting you know now not all N8 has the Anna update as yet , all depends on which region your N8 originates mines from Scandinavia and seems to get practically all the updates earlier than most people ..
Check Nokia's Site to See if your product code gotten the update as yet , i know someone with the North American model and it doesn't get the update yet..
