Its a old trick that alot of people fall for unfortunately, but I must say that one takes the cake, I was about to ask when MS come out with that. There are even some pop ups that do a "scan" of your system and claim to find security vulnerabilities on your system, when the real security vulnerability is usually between your chair and your keyboard
well said Kilaj1 too many persons have the common "click me syndrome". Its really annoying when a person calls telling you they have a virus and you know its bcuz they clicked some damned foolishness. I think some people don't deserve to have or own a computer, i mean common sense and basic principles can be applied to computer usage to avoid these things. Most people get a computer the first thing they do is download limewire and install all these online arcade games which just pollutes the system with un wanted viruses and trojans instead of reading up on how to secure and protect the system and even to a greater extent how to properly utilise a computer
