I'm not sure how you get 256k to be 32kb/s. As I understand it, if the package is 256Kbps in a stream (up/down) then you get just that. 256Kbps = 32KBps. Remember the b's and B's

Nikoli, try this:

goto your modems config option and set the DNS Primary Forwarder to 200.10.152.232, and secondary (if any) to 204.70.25.234.

It seems that C&W changed their DNS forwarders without properly configuring their DHCP or perhaps the modem you are using (much like the one I'm using) doesn't work well with whatever remote configuration requests they may be using.

Lemme know if this works.
