Im sure you can look and compare each phone to tell the best of the best. Right now it seems Sony Ericsson is getting up to scratch on making pretty decent android phones.. apparently, the Xperia Pro & Play were ment to be counterpart devices, 1 for professional work, indicated by the full qwerty keyboard and one for play well obviously indecated by the gamepad. theyre doing somethign right there.. i suggest people 2 try that out.

for HTC, it seems the trend is to make far and few powerhouses while making lower scale, affordable androids - i guess their strategy is to pic up those who are left along the lines of unaffordability. smart move if you ask me but they need 2 get up to par with the powerhouse devices like the ATRIX and OPTIMUS that have dual core processors and over 8 GB's of storage. not saying that the inspire is a bad phone but when compared to the capabilities of the Atrix and the optimus it seems all for naught - anyway, end all and be all, the best, most powerful android phones to date have to go to Samsung - these guys are definately hitting the customer mark with the Infuse 4G and the Galaxy S II, they have amazing hardware paired with gingerbread but it makes me wonder, will they break away from the trend of problems their phones are plagued with or will they finally learn their lesson and make something note worthy.

other rarities include Dell's venue which looks gorgeous, the acer iconia which is their first gingerbread release with a nice sleek look and the huawei ideos X6 which to me seems like a powerhouse in itself but when paired with its lower price it makes u think that the android smartphone market is really stepping its game up with devices. anyway take a look and leave ur comments below

Are these phones able to be used in Jamaica?

The reason I ask is that i have been checking out some HTC phones like the Evo and i realize that it cannot be used in Jamaica.

Would you be able to suggest a list of HTC/Android phones that can work in Jamaica.

Thanks for that info Bubba much appreciated.

Funny enough I checked out the Evo specs and it suppose to be able to work in Ja but the seller keeps on saying it cant so i'm wondering which model he was referring to.

    Appreciate the help.

Here is a suggestion for the Moderators of this section (Cultus/Greatis or even L4nd0 who started this thread), edit the phones above as most of them might be outdated....

It would be nice to come into this thread at the beginning and see what is current and perhaps the new phones slated to be released.

lol I think that's a provocative question enuh...
I'd really love if they made a Captivate II. If not, I'll wait on the SGS 3 next year.
