That's 1 of the excuses people use to steal software: put themselves in the middle of a crowd, so if they get caught, can point to everyone else. They just go with the crowd and hide behind everyone else. Everyone else does it, so why not you too, right?

No, I use to steal software. Never paid for a single thing expect for the OS. But I have realized the errors of my ways because someone else told me it was wrong. Since then I have paid for all the software that I have stolen. The others I removed from my system.

I now use mostly open source software, after realizing there are a lot of free alternatives to paid software out there. No need to become a criminal when there are alternatives out there to use.

This kind of practice and way of thinking not only stays with you in the privacy of your home, but also goes with you when working at your business and affects other areas of your life. I mean, if you can steal comfortably and get away with it, why not save money for your business and company, by finding cracks for software and installing them on your companies pc, right?

Stealing software is wrong! There is no reason to steal. So much free software out there. Developers and programmers need to eat as well.

There's also Moon Secure AV. It too uses the Clam AV engine, but it has the realtime on-access scanner.

You look on it different. Some people see all software free. Right now there are people lobbing for the goverment to make all software free? Yes i do agree that programmer work hard to write programs but at the same time people out there need something to be done importantly and the software is out there free why not take it. I'm not gonna play proud and say dont download copyrighted software, but what i supposed to do when its all in my face?
