There is nothing wrong with their degree program so if that is an option you choose to pursue then by all means do it. By the way the degree does not say that it was acquired online so there is nothing for anyone to be ashamed about.

Certifications will always expire but a degree does not. Degree first, cert later or both at the same time if possible.
agreed, I saw the course content and it was pretty extensive and had varying difficulty, if its online or in class it functions just the same, you have assignments to hand in group work to do and presentations to submit.

Any employer who only sees a "University of Phoenix" and dismisses it shouldn't be conducting interviews. its like saying if someone is jewish so don't hire them. I would prefer to get a degree from a University that is internationally known than one that just pop up and you have people questioning there accreditation

I was just wondering what the employers think about them being that you take the exams from your home and you could also have someone else take the exams for you.
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. Live for computers or else they will live for you.

as i said if they solely look at the school a person goes to and immediately puts it in the "Do not hire pile" they shouldn't be hiring people. Just for the record its not a cert its a diploma
