Ps4 Pro is Ugly. I see a lot of skins and Mods becoming available for it in the future.

Can any $400 pc do 4k? No
It won't be native 4k in most cases, instead most likely 1800p upscaled via checkerboard rendering. Unless you're obscenely close to the screen, however, you're not likely to notice any artifacts, according to digital foundry.

I do understand what your saying Pezz and as Makkah said it's not native 4k in most games as explained in the IGM review below:

Current Android - OnePlus 7T Pro
PC Specs - Motherboard: Asus PRIME B560-PLUS | Processor: Intel Core i5-11600K (stock) | Memory: 32 gigs Corsair Vengeance DDR4@3200mhz | Video Card: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4070 (OC Edition) | Monitor: ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K Monitor | Steam ID -> Powpow

It doesn't really matter if it is native or not, it still looks better than 1080p in the end and some games are 4k native. Find a $400 pc that can do better.

Also I know what the ps4 pro is and what it is capable of. I researched before starting the thread.

Well your not the only one that seeks information from this site, so we have to make sure people interested in the breakdown of what they are getting don't get mislead thinking what they would see in some PS pro games isn't really 4k but rather an upscaled version of it. You already know this type of technology that's used by AMD(VSR) and Nvidia(DSR), it's a similar technology for consoles except theirs is called checker board rendering and developers also do a bit more optimizing of the games so they also look good at the resolution they are comfortable with.

VSR/DSR are completely different from upscaling. Ps4 pro isn't doing downsampling.

What is wrong with checker board? It is a type of rendering that was in use before the ps4 pro came out and is not similar to vsr or dsr.

    1080p or 1440p upscaled to 4k... Is 4k.

Kudos to Sony for making a $400 system that can compete with mid to highend PC.

It's not Sony you should thank, but rather the developers. Why do you think that only a handful of games take advantage of their hardware so far? Especially the ones that don't have much going on in the background.

If Witcher 3 runs at 4k @ 60 fps on the PS4 pro then I'm selling my PC and getting one, seriously.

People... lol this is how you spot a hater. They hate until what they say makes now sense.

    Thank the developers?

Why not thank them for making games that makes use of our pc hard ware too? Why not thank them for making games that force people to upgrade gpu every year?

News flash.. All "PS4 Pro" games make use of the new hardware. 4k or not. it is either 1080p 60fps, 1440p or 4k.

Your pc cost more than $400 and cant run witcher at 4k, so why not sell it? LOL... seriously
