It's actually not a bad price for all the things it can do, but I don't expect anything positive from an AMD fanboy :/.

@topanaris - Why didn't you just buy a Nintendo handheld, or even a PSP or something?

Buying a Nintendo handheld or a Psp would make options very limited.

Also what can can the Nvidia tablet do that this device cant?

    Please tell me.

Watching the videos in totality would answer that question

The only real advantage of the Nvidia tablet is its somewhat future proof as it is 30% more powerful than the JXD S7800 and the GPD G5A, but as for games now both those China tablets are more than adequate.

UPDATE: Picked up the device from DHL this morning (didn't pay anything as far as duties are concerned - links) the build quality is excellent was pleasantly surprised feels right in the hands now I actually wished I had bought the 7 inch (GPD G7A) instead the 5 inch screen seems a bit small.

Future proof is not a "one can do one cant do". At the resolution of the GPD G5A it does not need the hardware that is in the Nvidia tablet either.

7" would cut your battery life I bet and make it heavy.

Agreed on both counts which is why I opted for the G5 A

UPDATE: Lets just say people the device a well made I would highly recommend it.

Let me start with things I don't like

    1. They only come in white - not a big fan.
    2. The shoulder triggers are not analogue so racing games might be a problem
    3. I did not get my headphones in the box
    4. It has a DC charging port separate from the usb port and needs to be charged through the DC port
    5. My device came with USB debugging enabled took a while before I found out thats why it wouldnt connect to my laptop
    6. The drivers did not come in the box but were easy enough to find.
    7. Screen not the best from certain angles

Now for what I do like:

    1. Feels nice and heavy but not too heavy
    2. The controllers are awesome
    3. It comes will all the emulators you will will need except for the DS emulator installed and roms (yes I know this is illegal but hey)
    4. All the emulators and all the games tested so far run at full speed from Dreamcast to N64 all run at full speed.
    5. Works fine in the Play Store but is identified as a Galaxy S3
    6. Speakers are quite loud for their size.
    7. Android games tested so far work quite well
    8. Came with Kit Kat 4.4.2 installed
    9. The interface is buttery smooth and lag free
    10. Comes with a game centre to download more roms (yes, I know, illegal blah blah blah)
    11. From the correct angle the screen is quite nice.

Very much impressed with the purchase for, now for the most important test durability. Will let you all know how it goes.
