Default Help!!! 5850 or 6850 Crossfire

I was gunning to sell my currently owned Asus 5850 and go 6850 xfire then I found this gem...

Only $170 on the egg prolly wont overclock very well but will pack some serious muscle xfired with my current card without the hassle of having to sell and repurchase, costing me less overall. Which would you choose?

This is a tough one. The 5850 is a slightly faster card in single card setup. But Crossfire performance of the 6850 is better as Pezz said. Plus the 6850 has better Tessellation performance which will future proof your setup and the 6850 chip has better power consumption.
The reason for keeping the 5850 is as u stated the hassle of selling the current card you have.

Pretty much, my hunch is that if I can get the powercolor to a decent overclock the overclocked 5850s would probebly perform better than overclocked 6850's.

Edit: That's a big if though.

6850 no doubt. it will only get faster with new drivers.
