After giving ur reasoning some thought it makes much sense.

Yea it makes perfect sense Just read it.

Since only one flame is on the first rope it would be half the time of the rope with 2 flames and then that would be 15 minutes gone and he lights the next end and then 30 mins gone

Must pay $2000 before you take the test(cannot pay on the day of the test). Must carry valid ID and your receipt which should have your applicant # on it.

A rope burns non-uniformly for exactly one hour. How do you measure 45 minutes, given two such ropes?

Or has it gotten simpler over the years?

Heard i have to do this so they can decide whether i'm accepted or rejected.. They didn't even notify me not even a simple email.. Had not my friend who applied as well mother saw it in the gleaner we would miss that test..
fold the rope in half, then fold it in half again, the rope is now folded in 4 quarters, mark each quarter n u should be able to find 45mins of burning rope

Answer A. With a Clock ( they did not say you never had one). Other info may just be red herring, and you would also have to make assumptions that was put in the problem statement .
