*Better multitasking with OS6 when using the internet?

*More Storage when installing applications from Apps world?

*Better battery life when using the black berry service ( know that the BB messenger will always be running in the background?

    * And i heard that OS 6.1 coming out. Which one will be able to run it?

id say the 9700 because it is not as thick and clunky as the 9650.. outside of that they are practically the same

HOWEVER - i dont think anyone with a 9700 has ever complained - so that 1 if u ask me is better

you can do side by side comparisons of phones on gsmarena. That will give you a clear idea as to how they match up specs wise. I have a bold 9700, never used a 9650 before so my opinion gonna be biased. Check the specs and then decide.

Don't think the 9700 or 9650 will be getting the new 6.1 os. I hope we do but i doubt it.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I been on gsmarena and did the comparison. I notice the 9650 has 512mb ram and no processor info while the 9700 has 256mb ram and a 624mhz processor what do u guys have to say about that.

odds are its a 528MB processor in the 9650.. and dont really watch RAM Ace - because for blackberry chipsets, RAM is usually shared with ROM - meaning ROM has less.. pretty sad if u ask me but w/e

Mmm so it seems the 9650 is better in performance than the 9700 because its 512mb is shared as rom dispite the 9700 have a 624mhz processor

Used them both on OS 6 and prefer the 9650. Form factor maybe an issue for some but wasn't for me. In fact they should have probably called the 9650 the 9720 or something like that. But i guess as a spin off to the tour the 96xx designation was more appropriate. All in all each person will have their own experience and it will still be a bb.
