    Lightbulb ASUS Eee Slate with Windows 7

    Now this should make things interesting...it's been announced since the top of the year but it's available.

    Full Windows, tablet style...would you get this?


    You can get it on Amazon for just over $1000, though it's temporarily out of stock.

    if i was into tablets i would def get this...i dont kno the specs of the others tabs but these look hella sweet!......kinda pricy tho

    The specs justify it to me though...this is definitely not just another Android tablet. It has specs seen on larger laptops and it outpaces netbooks for sure. Full Windows (almost) in the palm of your hands . No big trade offs.

    Asus needs to do something about the batter life, 3hrs kinda sucks.

    Now I don't have to worry about getting a Cintiq or an Intuos. I wonder if I can find Santa this time of the year?

    Well I guess something had to be traded off but this is not a 6 cell battery and it's not running low powered processors like the Netbooks so something's got to give. It's providing laptop performance in a small form factor and laptops don't tend to give more than that same time...

    Its is very nice to take to meetings and conferences for any corporate person. I don really consider it as a notebook or Desktop replacement tho or for any usage intense.

    That's true, but remember that HD also contains the OS, Apps and Documents. Another thing to note is that the 32GB version only comes with 2GB of memory.
