soul calibur hands down, it definately sets the stage for these type of fighter games. mitsirugi, cervantes, astaroath, ivy, = peoples demise.

i honestly dont think MK deserves to be in this category of fighters, the came is really cultured around 2d fighting i stopped playing mk when it became 3d, and i was pulled into mk four by a friend and sorta liked it but on seeing deadly alliance and deception that was it, the game was not made to be that slow is like coming from a skyline to come drive a civic where speed is concerned, I vote Negative on mortal Kombat as a 3D fighter, the thought of it make my head hurts. it was a better game as a 2d fighter and if they thought that they wouldn't be able to survive as a 2d fither they are wrong ohh so wrong [ stright fighter aparently felt the same way with they're playstation 2 release. but to prove them wrong LOOK AT A GREAT GAME SUCH AS GUILTY GEAR Which form its conception been a 2d fighter [ initially guilty gear ] and now after 5 releases of [ guilty gear, guilty gear x, guilty gear x plus , guilty gear xx reloaded, guilty gear asuka ] the game is still able to keep its core fighting engine [ the best btw ] and still entertain the players with new features to the game and so on. as adam sessler would say MK YOU GET A 1 OUT OF 5

Personally... out of all of these i would say soul calibur. I hate tekken and Virtua fighter
and the only two of the above i really play and enjoy is soul calibur and Doa... and man the use of weapons in soul calibur is just wicked so yeh SC wins it for me.

I must agree that the buildup that was hyped in the adverts was a disappointment when I saw Deadly Alliance but I haven't seen Deception to be able to comment on that.
