    Question "unable to access medium 'main media'" error with Mandriva




    using Mandriva Linux Free 2010.2 Gnome version and getting this error can anyone help?

    I believe "Main Media" is your installation DVD. Put it in the PC's DVD tray and try again
    .
    PC - Ubuntu 15.04 64bit Desktop
    HP Pav G60-236US 3GB RAM Laptop, Ubuntu 15.04 64bit and Win7 Home

    i see thanks for that.. the thing is i installed it via flash drive, im not even seeing the flash drive now when plugged in dont know why but yeah..

    im thinkin either i missed a step during installation where i was to configure the update medium or i just should have burned a dvd instead of going around

    not sure if it makes a difference but why not try booting the machine with the drive plugged in and then boot to hard disk
