How is gaming on the hd2?
if I cant get one for $300 or under then i wont.
Better buyign an android device.

pretty good - runs Asphault 5 and assassin's creed quite well.. most of the games i play on it are 2D games however, like zenonia 2 and caligo chaser and GBA+SNES emulator because i have a PSP - and nothing beats a PSP when it comes to mobile gaming

as for getting one for $300 USD or less, sorry pezz- but i DOUBT anyone would sell it to you for $300 USD locally -i was lucky to get mine for 25K but some people are selling theirs for all 38K BNIB which is prob the same price range as a tmobile mytouch 4G.. is prob 4 d best u ebay it or get 1 thats being sold from XDA (they got some selling for $250 USD)

i got an aria as well for the same price from technoboy for ma GF but the HD2 far outperforms the Aria

yeah, she's got an HTC Aria with Android 2.2 on it so essentially, its a Gratia. (both phones are the same except 1 has froyo and the other has eclair) i paid roun US $300 for it as well MIB last year late october - was a very good buy considering at the time i bought it they cost closer to $400

ok cool. i would load it on my n900 but i am loving the n900 as it is.
been using the omnia II. is froze a few times but better than windows. being beta 1 it works nicely. others installed it and it works perfectly. beta 2 will be awesome. gonna try and get a hd2 though. hacking and modding is ver satisfying to me. i will get a video up of my omnia running android. will write a tutorial too.

more updates on gaming - i downloaded and played turbofly 3D & Krazy Kart Racers.. krazy kart lags a little when on stages that are extremely populated (and there are like 2 or 3 of them) turbofly doesnt lag at all.. and moves at top FPS - it is pretty stable

Lads even though its overclocked to 1.5ghz?
Also I can get a hd2 for $350. Gonna round up the funds.

oddly.. i suppose the game just uses alot of resources.. it might be more than just CPU u know, somestimes its not even an issue of CPU.. i usually keep alot of background apps running simultaneously running on my phone so i guess that ties in with speed its the ONLY game i ever played and got lag on.. even playing PSX games doesnt lag but this game does.. yeah 1 would think LMAO..

edit. apparently, the GPU of the phone uses shared memory with the CPU, as such, it is expected that there should be some amount of decrease in performance based on how much processes u have running
