What i would like to see sometime soon is SMS interconnect between networks.
Technically this is already available. U can send an emai/text to any cand phone with a digicel phone.
........After all this talk, at nights we still Click "Start" to "Shutdown" and still own a Digicel phone.

i read the thing on their site and if u want to sign up for their b-free package u ahve to pay down $3000.00 and u have to top up before the card expires which depends on the value of ur card. if it expires u'll lose the credit but if u top up within 60 days u'll get back the credit u lost. if u dont top up within 60 days its gone and u have to pay $3000.00 to get a new plan.

    here is an excerpt:

If you have a mobile phone and need a prepaid account, simply purchase a bFree Start-Up Kit from any bmobile store or authorized agent for $3000. A $3000 credit is included to get you started.

    Keeping your bFree number active
Keep your bFree account active by adding talk time with a new bFree Card before your credit expires. bFree cards come in the following denominations: 100, 200, 300,500.

Expired credit may be recovered if bFree talk time is added within 60 days. If you choose not to add talk time to your bFree account after 60 days your service will be permanently disconnected.

Once disconnected you will have to purchase a bFree Start-Up Kit to activate a new service.

is that via the email gateway or straight SMS?

personally I think SMS terms should have be included in the networks interconnect agreements from day 1.
