Sony Ericsson Suing Clearwire For Trademark Infringement

It looks like Sony Ericsson is not pleased with Clearwire’s official logo appearing strikingly similar to their own. They have taken action by suing Clearwire, filing for a federal trademark lawsuit in Virginia. SE claims that Clear’s logo is causing confusion among the mobile market. CW has plans to place this logo on a number of handsets they intend to release later this year, something SE desperately does not want to see.

SE is requesting the courts not allow CW to use the logo brand on their phones and is also suing for monetary damages. This seems like a big step to pursue for a company who is lacking in the capital department. But nevertheless, stay tuned to Talk Android as we’ll be covering the story closely for you.

I think the two are far apart ... Diff shade of green and diff pattern, only similarity is that they are both circles lol ... Kinda ridiculous on Sony Ericsson's part
