A+ / n+ / ccna.........

Ok this is the Thing......... I WANT ALL THREE!!

So my question is how do I go about doing em
Which one do I tackle first and how do I get started? Or does it even make sense to do all three or just CCNA alone then move forward.....

good to start in the same order that u labelled ur post. then again if memory serves me right the material covered in ccna 1st/2nd module is sufficient to prepare u for the N+

dont bother with n+ if you're doing ccna..

best bet would be to first get A+ so u can understand the fundametal basics of hardware..... therefore a solid foundation would be layed....... an then i would tackle the ccna because the ccna is really difficult if ure new to the world of computers..... hence thats y i recommend u get the a+ first....

network + i wud say is a waste of time if ure gonna get the ccna cuz all the m,aterials covered in network + is in the ccna plus a whole lot more.

but then a wud say ensure that u have experience to back up the certs........ because i was enrolled in the ccna networking academy, did the cert and because i just left college, i dont have any experience even though i know my stuff..... hence its hard for me to get a a job because persons dont want u unless u hav some experience ....... and i dont hav any cuz i just left school............sux if u ask me...

best bet wud be to get a+, experience then ccna or any way can work as long as u hav experience.....

A+ then CCNA then u can upgrade from there

as everyone said A+ first, I would say at least read through N+ material not necessarily take the exam (dam thing is expensive) the first semester (section) of CCNA covers N+ so reading the N+ material before hand will help a bit.

crazeeplayer might tell you different but I would go to school for CCNA, its possible to do it on your own but when you get stuck on something only place is usually here on techJA for a response

best thing study for a+ goin to class is a waste of money use that money 4 ur ccna cuz its alot of money if u need the a+ book i have 1 sellin it sux to do a+ now cuz every 3 yr u hav do it over again

If you have a bit of experience i would say do none! I'm serious! think outside the box... everyone in IT doing the same 3 certs go for something that no one is doing so u set urself apart from the other 300000 techies fighting for the same lab technician job at utech. Have you thought of linux, programming cert, project management, security, virtualization/cloud, business analysis etc...

Too bad U never do this from in last year when U would get the certification and have them for life. Now if you do A+, N+ or Security+ you will have to re-certify.

Ye that kinda sucks for the A+ re-certy every three years from what am just finding out.

@ Duster, I have thought of Project Management as Well. what about Progamming Certs, where can I get more info on these

With the three year A+ certification though, other than you have to re-certify what else would be different from the whole A+ concept
