Last time I checked they all had the same Ui paradigm: just a screen with scrolling icons. The Ui layout did not change overall, it is the same gridlike thing without a dedicated homescreen for quick reference. This grid Ui is same across 2G, 3G, 3GS and iphone 4, so it does not matter whichever you are using you will use just about the same navigation methods.


It is also the same restricted system even with jailbreaking.

The N900 also has a pretty fast swap memory running on dedicated NAND, 700mb+ of swap memory in addition to the 256mb ram.

The iphone 4 has a 1GHZ A-8 in it, but what tells you that it is actually running at the full power? The GPU and the processor have been underclocked in just about every iphone model since launch, since running the processor at it's full capapacity on iphones will reduce battery life dramatically(thanks to it's poor power management).

ALso give an indication of where the iPhone's cam is better(most iPhone persons seem to avoid the cam talk when faced with the N8 by saying it's a null issue because camerias arent important)

They both have Video LED
They both have Auto Focus
They both have geotagging
I dont think the N900 can record 720p @ 30fps, iPhone 4 can

Well there are alot more technical stuff that determines better, software is just as important as hardware. N900 has the hardware to record 720p, just that the software limits it at 480p widescreen(848x480, higher than D1)

All im saying is that 1 iOS update will make the N900 look like a baby as the hardware in the iPhone is better with the addition of the Three-axis gyroscope sensor

We are talking about 3gs and under. The n900 is a 2009 phone.

Keep in mind i can easily overclock my n900 to 1ghz easily.
