The risk would be worth it. Tally up all the the money you paying to Digicel in cards, plans and teefness and you probably could buy a fully furnished 3 storey house and a 2011 BMW.

I would have also wanted the Gimme 5 promo to include Christmas Day & New Year's Day but the Gimme 5 Terms & Conditions on Digicel's site clearly states:

2. The Promotion will run from Wednesday 1 December 2010 and shall continue until as otherwise determined by Digicel (“the Promotion Period”) with the exception of the following dates:
a. Christmas Day 25 December 2010 from 12:00am to 11:59 pm; and
b. New Years Day 1 January 2011 from 12:00am to 11:59pm

I recall them saying "...Digicel Terms & Conditions apply. Visit www.digiceljamaica.com for more information..." in their newspaper ads.

Look on any Digicel ad and you'll see it in the fine print. It's been there all along.

They should do better than that. Granted you can,t put everything in a tv ad, but why in a newspaper ad you gonna lead people to a website instead of putting it into fine print? Cuz most people gonna see that and not even bother going on the site to go read the tos (how many people really do that anyway?) All they did was to hide the info away. Some people got a text some didn't. How much does it cost them to send a mess message text?

if they did carry the promo, i certain the network would go down,it jam even without the promotion,much less,they not expanding the capacity,u'all can forget bout that, all me lady complaining that i didnt send her merry xmas when indeed me did, when it finally reach har, she vex,good thing me hav me claro, so me nuh hav a vex lady to deal wit ,all we need to do is spread out across all three networks, so it balance,lime have capacity,and claro as wel, y hitch up on one network,that over crowded, is like three coaster bus,one overcrowded wit ppl all stand up at the door, the rows em have in 5 a row, an the other two bus not even cross seat not usin.

i saw the SMS from Digi last week Wednesday/Thursday concerning the suspension on New Year's Day though

Free data plan for non BB .. I have laid down my Wimax modem because... well.. LIME EDGE is just about the same speed.
