before yu smart something off in response to my post kindly do some research as i said

I expected factual comments like you are Trying to do.
I had my bb in a box, because when I got it it wasnt please to me as a smart phone. I see nothing smart about it when compareed to other os and devices.
I send emails and I have no problem.
I dont need to do any research. I speak of what I know.

Lol you comparing java? You must be joking.

The N900 is not a smartphone but more of a MID with a phone radio built in.
I always wondered why non corporate customers buy BB, it baffles me to this day. (I gues they want to look as important as their bosses lol)

This along with it sharing 90% of it's frontline code with DESKTOP debian allows it to run just about any code a linux debian desktop can, all need to do is recompile to allow the app to run on the ARM architecture.

That alone shows that BBs code base and system is TOTALLY and without doubt inferior to Maemo on the N900, there is just no competition; one is based on a java runtime while the other is pure native desktop operating system.
Now you are just as bad, do u expect them to understand any of what u just said? lol

So comparing a java based restrictive OS(if it can truly be classified as a proper OS) to one that is entirely based on full desktop code is a no brainer, no comparison.
you will have to blame the thread starter for the comparison. I guess because he knew he was right, he threw it out there. LOL

LOL @ physical keyboard, I dont know if you realised but most of nokia's corporate devices have a physical keyboard, plus they have alot of metal and is not built out of plastic recycled from chinese toys(thats what BBs feel like to me).
Technically only the Bold's keybaord can be praised the otheres are too confined to a small space to warrant any praise. using a e71, all i needed to do to get work email was to sign on to my company's OWA (outlook web access) and enter my username and password, since that is HTTPS security isnt an issue. By the time i got the BB nokia's email client was far superior, i can imagine how much better it is now.

A waste of time for real, Nokias are the only true smart phones, the rest cant even make video calls on a 3G network. Thats something that a basic samsung, LG, SE or nokia S40 phone can do.
    THANK GOD

Now that the Nokia N900 has been hack to run Gingerbread ( Android 2.3), you might be regretting that move!
