    Default Data recovery company?

I have an SD card that crapped out on me.. everytime i put it in a pc/ linux/ mac or camera it says i need to format. I tried doing it in windows and the camera but that doesnt work either.

I emailed the company (Lexar) and they said they dont have that kinda facility there. I would need to give it to some specialist and let them remove the images from the chip.

Any suggestions as to where does this kinda work?

Try Ontrack Easy Recovery software first then look for a data recovery company if the images are worth the cost of retrieval.

There is one company that I know off in Jamaica that provides Data Recovery.

Endorsed. Could also try GetDataBack for FAT - they have an NTFS version but since it's a memory card I'm guessing it's FAT.
Knowing the solution doesn't mean knowing the method. Yet answering correctly and regurgitation are considered "learning" and "knowledge".

that was my thought as well when i saw this post.i have proven this handy piece of software quite useful in the past although I have never used it for fat retrieval.

I went to Tredlabs... abit difficult to find but $8500 if they sort it out... $2500 deposit

At USD$100 Lexar might as well send me back a top of the line 32GB card

I slightly doubt they can get the data back from a flash type device without going a software route (which you have already tried)... I can understand getting back data for a hard disk since via non software only means since that is a physical thing. What device(s) do they use to recover the data? Just saying I have a feeling they are going to do the same thing you did.
